INFORMATION

Designed for 'ultra' drift reduction, these air induction, boom sprayer nozzles are 2,4-D Compliant in Australia from size 01 and above. This makes the Compact Fan Air ULTRA very well suited for use on any 3TS and any spray boom on 25 cm spacing that typically use a combination of size 015 and 02 nozzles.

3TS Settings

 

Below you will see three separate configurations based on the typical 20 km/h 80 lit/ha scenario.

 

A | Where your average travelling speeds are between 15 km/h and 20 km/h, select A. This will ensure your are operating in the optimum pressure range for VC of 3 - 4 BAR, Tier 3. Can be re-configured to COARSE for non 2,4-D applications.

B | Where your average travelling speeds are between 20 km/h and 25 km/h, select B. for optimum 3 - 4 BAR, Tier 3. Can be re-configured to COARSE for non 2,4-D applications.

 

C | Where you have a broad speed range from 15 km/h to 25 km/h and want to cover it optimally, select C. This configuration may appear a bit unusual, however it is based on the fact that the CFAU03, is FULLY VC up to and including 7 BAR, thus as the "main event" in this pair covering a huge range of rate/speed combinations, with the 02 covering very low speed applications.

The added benefit here is that in Tier 3, you'll have a combined 05 allowing for high rate high speed fungicide applications with a C/VC combination when it's needed.

MINIMUM PRESSURE SETTING

Note that the factory chart show an operating range from 3 BAR, and they should be operated between 3BAR and 4BAR for optimum performance AND 2,4-D VC Compliance. 

For dealing with slowdown for headlands and obstacles, we recommend a 2.5BAR minimum pressure setting.
